Sashiko is traditional needlework from ancient times in Japan. This art started from the actual demands of ordinary people in the Edo period (1603-1868). Traditionally, Sashiko was used to strengthen or repair worn-out areas of clothing with patches, making the fabric stronger and thicker. The white thread on the traditional indigo fabric represents the snow that falls on the ground during the cold winter months.

About TimTay

Fashion, an industry that is free and liberal. There aren’t any rules or boundaries when it comes to fashion. Because of that, TimTay, a local Vietnamese fashion brand, is pushing the limits by making sustainable and practical fashion products.
Inspired by the unnamed stories in life, from the vast landscape to the beauty of nature, they want their customers to express themselves more freely through their wide range of unique product lines.
Putting extra effort in the most basic manufacturing stage, they aspire to portray the brand’s core values through their products. Just like the name “Tim Tay" - which means “Heart and hand”, they go from ideas and desires from their heart to completed products by hand.
At Tim Tay they use premium natural materials, and zero-waste design techniques to minimize leftover materials in the manufacturing procedure. All products are handcrafted, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality. They want to awaken the deepest and realest thoughts inside any of the customers.
