Description
Cao lầu is a regional noodle dish specific to the Hoi An area. It’s famous for its use of the special ash water from the Bá Lễ well. It is impossible to re-create this dish outside of the Hoi An area with complete authenticity, which is why it is a must-try dish when visiting this ancient town.
This composition was hand drawn directly on the woodblock and is supposed to put the viewer in the scene to replicate the view of sitting by the river and enjoying your Cao Lầu whilst overlooking the iconic yellow buildings of Hoi An.
