The difference between the two flavors of Stout and Porter:
- Stout: dark brown, opaque like mahogany.
- Porter: also dark brown but almost black because the barley is roasted more thoroughly and fermented slowly.
- Porter has a sweeter taste, medium fullness and a crisp finish.
- Stout has a richer flavor and higher ABV.
