Description
In Vietnam, it's not hard to get all the essential supplies at small mechanical shops that have mushroomed everywhere. Those places are covered with oil stains and mechanics whose hands are dirty for working with machinery. The atmosphere of such shops is packed with products they sell and often brings a strangely reminiscent vibe.
Jack Clayton, the artist behind Saigon Print Art, has cleverly turned that image into a relief print and created digital reproductions out of it.

About Saigon Print Shop
Art is a genuine part that adds value to our life. It allows us to be creative, to connect to our inner selves, to feel and open perceptions.
Jack Clayton is a graphic designer and independent printmaker with more than 10 years experience. Together with his wife, he founded Saigon Print Shop, a specialist woodcut art shop that offers traditional woodcut prints and their digital reproductions.
The artist transforms rough wood into a series of beautiful artworks that portray Vietnamese landscape and people.
Over and above that, Saigon Print Shop is also a woodcut print gallery and a hub for the traditional printmaking community as the brand wants to spread this local culture and technique to more people.
You can shop all their fascinating and carefully-detailed products on CHUS.
