Description
Trời ơi', meaning ‘oh my god’ or ‘oh heavens’, is an extremely popular term in Vietnamese. It's commonly said that if you go to any crowded place and listen for a short while, you are likely to hear it being said.
In this image, artist Jack has made a play on the words by taking their literal meaning to show a man in the sky. He is not bothered, just enjoying life on a cloud with a cup of tea.

About Saigon Print Shop
Art is a genuine part that adds value to our life. It allows us to be creative, to connect to our inner selves, to feel and open perceptions.
Jack Clayton is a graphic designer and independent printmaker with more than 10 years experience. Together with his wife, he founded Saigon Print Shop, a specialist woodcut art shop that offers traditional woodcut prints and their digital reproductions.
The artist transforms rough wood into a series of beautiful artworks that portray Vietnamese landscape and people.
Over and above that, Saigon Print Shop is also a woodcut print gallery and a hub for the traditional printmaking community as the brand wants to spread this local culture and technique to more people.
You can shop all their fascinating and carefully-detailed products on CHUS.
