Ngoc Tram is a wanderlust soul who can't resist a good mountain trek. On her adventures across Vietnam's highlands, she's met countless folks from ethnic tribes, particularly drawn to their stunning, hand-crafted art. She soon realized two things: tourists adore these unique pieces, but buying them is a bumpy road for most of them because it’s not ideal to travel so far to traditional villages just to buy crafted items. This sparked Ngoc Tram's brilliant idea: a brand dedicated to high-quality, handmade treasures made from nature's bounty, specifically hemp fabric (or "cat linen," as the locals call it).
Hemp grabbed Ngoc Tram's heart for a reason. It's kind to the earth, grows like a champ, and boasts astonishing strength. This fabric has a unique roughness on the surface but it’ll become softer after each wash. Plus, using mountain-grown hemp from places like Sapa and Ha Giang amplifies the products' character. It's not just about gorgeous bags and scarves; it's about creating jobs for mountain communities and sharing their simple, nature-connected way of life - which are all the wishes from True Indigo Vietnam Crafts.
