Fine Robusta is considered the best Robusta coffee in the world. According to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), Fine Robusta must satisfy strict criteria for flavor and taste with a score of 80 - 90/100 points by experienced professionals.
However, the producer must register at the CQI portal, pay a grading fee (US$150 - $350/lot ~2kg) and send an inspection sample to a CQI representative. Therefore, not everyone has enough conditions, budgets, and time for the above steps.
If unmindful of the score story, Fine Robusta is still Robusta coffee harvested when the fruit is ripe, clean, without defects, and roasted with the best profile that brings out its flavor.
Coffee is carefully fertilized, with enough water, good soil, so when the ripe berries are picked and cleaned, the coffee is always delicious in its own way.
