The fabric are dyed/brocaded handcraftedly and purchased from people of ethnic groups at different times. Therefore, pattern of each product may slightly differ.
Batik is the art of fabric decoration popular among many ethnic minorities of Vietnam. However, this technique has its own unique features for the H'Mong ethnic group.
First, the H'Mong uses molten beeswax to paint on the fabric. The cloth is then hand-dyed in indigo and boiled in boiling water. The beeswax melted will reveal vibrant, extremely sophisticated, and complicated patterns.
The H'Mong are very proud of this traditional technique of their people. Each pattern and brushstroke contains the soul and essence of the local culture.
