Stoneware is a type of pottery. It requires a burning temperature of around 1000 to 1100 degrees Celsius, which is higher than that of earthenware and lower than that of pottery. People often use stoneware for normal containers or even luxury decoration items such as vases, figurines, etc. for its hardness, durability and a clear nice sound like a bell when being slightly knocked on. To clean stoneware, only use soft cloth instead of hard brush or steel wool; and light-duty washing products instead of bleach or acidic liquid so that the glaze is not damaged.
