1. Why do you need to customize your order?

For those who are fond of individuality and prefer to veer away from the ordinary, then choosing to customize your order is a fantastic choice! You can provide your personalized instructions for handmade products, like having your name engraved on a leather wallet or opting for a different color scheme for a crochet bag. 

Additionally, customizing your order adds an extra layer of distinction to your gifts. For instance, you can request the brand for a heartfelt and meaningful handwritten message on a card, making it all the more special for your recipient.

2. How to customize your order on CHUS

Method 1: Leave a note in the “Customer note to Brand” section

- Customized orders are typically clearly noted as 'This product is made to order' and often come with a 'Note from brand.' Each brand (also called Artisan) will have different notes depending on the specific product and accompanying services.

- You can leave notes regarding the customization you'd like in the 'Customer notes to Brand' section, such as text content and specific colors. For example, you want to order a DIY portrait kit as a birthday gift and wish to change the text content to 'Happy Birthday'.

- After adding the product to your cart or proceeding to checkout, please double-check your notes. Your notes will be displayed just below the product name on the checkout page (marked with red box).

- The checkout page also includes a 'Note for Brand' section. Here, you can provide additional requests such as delivery time preferences, urgent order preparation, etc.

- Choose the appropriate shipping method and proceed with the payment as usual.

Method 2: Chat with Artisan 

- In addition to leaving notes, you can use the Chat with Artisan feature to communicate directly with the seller about your requests. Please note that sometimes the seller may not respond immediately.

- Let's say you're interested in hairpin designs that differ from the ones currently available in the store.

- After you have finished communicating with the brand, you can place your order as usual. 

3. Important notes when placing custom orders on CHUS

- Due to handmade and unique nature, custom orders (indicated with a note "This product is made to order") must be paid for in advance. Available payment methods are credit card, ATM card, VNPay, MoMo, Zalo Pay. 

- CHUS does not support Cash on Delivery (COD) payment for custom orders.

- If you have used Option 1 (leaving a note) but wish to change the design, you can directly message the Brand using Option 2 (direct messaging). However, you can only modify your request if the brand has not yet started preparing your customized order.
