Fares range from 7,000 VND to 20,000 VND (depending on the distance).

Hành khách có thể thanh toán vé tàu metro qua nhiều phương thức như MasterCard và ứng dụng HCMC Metro. Từ ngày 24/1/2025, tuyến metro số 1 sẽ bổ sung thêm hai phương thức thanh toán mới: ví điện tử Momo với tính năng quét mã QR và thẻ ngân hàng Napas. You can pay for your MRT fare through various methods, including MasterCard and the HCMC Metro app. Starting January 24, 2025, two new payment options will be added: Momo e-wallet with QR code scanning and Napas bank cards. Visa payments are expected to be available by mid-February 2025.
Additionally, people with disabilities, senior citizens, and children under 6 years old can travel for free. These passengers can register at the ticket counter and use their ID cards to receive a metro pass.
MRT Operations During Tet

- From January 30 to February 2, 2025 (2nd to 5th of Tet): The MRT runs from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
