Black peppercorn comes with the most strong flavors among other peppers, and is commonly found everywhere. The Ho Tieu black peppercorn is sun-dried and has no impurities. It delivers a pungent aroma that adds a pleasant kick to your food.
Black Peppercorn Sauce
- Ingredients:
+ 3 tsp black peppercorns
+ 4 tso butter
+ 1 minced shallot
+ 110 ml Brandy
+ 110 ml beef stock
+ 60 ml heavy cream
+ Salt
- Instruction:
+ Saute butter and shallots until it’s soft.
+ Add peppercorn (already crushed) and brandy, then bring to a boil. Then add the beef stock and bring back up to boiling point.
+ Once boiling, turn the heat down to add the cream and stir. Continue to heat the sauce gently for around 5-10 minutes, until it is the thickness you wish. Taste the sauce and add salt if you want.
+ Serve in a saucepan or pour directly over your food.
