How to clean velvet products:
- If the product has stubborn stains, you should soak the product in cold water, then gently brush with a soft bristle brush several times. Then, gently rub, rinse with cold water. Remember to wash gently.
- With grease stains, you should use a little white vinegar to spray on, wait about 5 minutes and gently wipe it. After that, rinse it through cold water. Never treat stains on velvet products by boiling water or highly alkaline soap.
- After removing the stains, put the velvet bag in a laundry detergent basin to wash as usual. Remember not to scrub and twist too hard to avoid affecting the velvet. In the last step, use a gentle squeeze to let the water drain without creasing the fabric. Dry in ventilated and protected from strong sunlight.
- Do not machine wash the product in normal mode like other clothes because the velvet thread cannot withstand strong friction.
