In traditional Easern Medicine, homalomena occulta is a precious medicine used to treat the conditions of bones and muscles. Some effects include aiding in treatment of osteoarthritis, numbness in limbs, joint pain, rheumatism, etc.
Pregnant and lactating women should not use products with a large amount of homalomena, because they have high pharmaceutical effects and can interfere with normal function of a sensitive body.

- Apply on affected skin, pain areas or insect bites.
- Apply on both sides of the temples and nasal to treat flu and headache.
