- Put the ceramic item into a large pot and then cover it with water to 2/3 of the height of the item
- Bring the water to a boil for 30 to 40 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Wait for 5 minutes, then take the item out of the pot and let it cool. Wash with cold water
- Store in a cool place.
